「Next Step（次のステップ）」
この作品は、学校の退屈さと子どもへの影響を探ったもの。
登場する子どもたちは、学校の教室、講堂や廊下で自分の精神がどこか別の場所に迷い込んでいることに気がつきます。

大人になるにつれ、私たちは常に次に何が起こるかというプレッシャーに晒されています。
大学進学について心配することから始まり、学生生活、そして卒業までに決めなければならない自身の将来。
思春期は、多くの子どもたちが常に次のステップについて考えるよう迫られている苦難の時期です。

しかし退屈さを通じて、自分が何を本当に楽しみ、嫌っているのかを理解することもできます。
だから、ある意味では必要な心理状態なのかもしれません。

退屈から生まれた空想を探求し、小道具を通して、子ども時代の願望や目標を表現しています。
子どもたちは決して今を生きているわけではないことを思い、あえて皮肉なタイトルをつけました。

This work explores boredom associated with school and its effect on kids.
The kids in this story find themselves in classrooms, school halls, and corridors while their mental state wanders elsewhere.

Growing up, we are constantly put under pressure of what will come next.
At first, we are expected to worry about getting into college, followed by university, and finally, we are expected to know our profession by the time we leave education.
Adolescence can be a challenging time for many, and thus these kids are constantly being pushed to think about the next step.

However, through boredom, we can also truly understand what it is we enjoy or dislike.
Thus, it may be a necessary state of mind in some sense.

The pictures explores daydreams as a by-product of boredom, conveying childhood aspirations and goals through carefully selected props that portray these.
Despite the ironic title, the kids never truly live in the moment.
