「Experience by Ladder（梯子による経験）」
この作品は、「梯子」の空間体験を通じて新たな場所を得ることができる椅子（装置）です。
梯子の「登る」という行為を経て、「場所を獲得する」という体験をより特徴づけるよう、「その行為や体験」と「今作品のパーツ」を紐づけ、各所に文言をペイントしました。
例えば足掛けの部分には、“rung（梯子などの横木・段）”、構造材（支材）には斜めになっている形態を生かし“time to climb to the top（頂点に登る時間）”といったように、一過性の体験をポイントに与えています。
また登った先の椅子の背もたれには、“Here is the place I get（私が獲得する場所）”といった文言を添えており、この椅子（装置）の中で生まれている体験や時間の移り変わりを強調しました。
そしてこれらの特徴を示すように、1人の少年がその経験を得ていく様子を写真に記録しました。
素材は全体的に角パイプの溶接で組み、座面はベニヤ、背もたれは帆布で仕上げています。
This is a chair(equipment) that allows you to gain a new place through the space experience “ladder” brings.
To characterize the experience of “acquiring a place” stronger through the act of “climbing” the ladder, I linked “those acts or experiences” with “parts of this work” and painted quotes in various places.
I am giving transient experiences by using "rung" on the footrest, and produced "time to climb to the top" on the structure(brace) which I took advantage of the slanted form.
Also, on the back of the chair which placed in end of the ladder says "Here is the place I get”, to emphasize the transition of time and experience that is being created in this chair(equipment).
And we have photographed the process of a boy gaining experience to show these features.
The material is entirely constructed from welded square pipes, with a veneer seat and canvas backrest.
