「Romantic Colours（ロマンティックな色合い）」
この作品は、メイクアップアーティストであるAna Buvinicとのコラボレーションから生まれたもの。
彼女との仕事は非常にダイナミックで、協力的かつ創造的です。
たいていの場合は大まかなテーマを設定し、一緒にモデルを選び、撮影当日はお互いの作品を参考にしながら進めています。

今回は、柔らかくロマンティックで夢心地なルックを作り出し、捉えようと考えました。
そのため、ピンクや赤をメインカラーとして使用していますが、ひねりを加えたシンプルな白と黒でバランスを取っています。

私は普段フィルムで撮影しており、撮影中は画像を見ることができないため、現像してスキャンした後にはいつもちょっとした驚きの瞬間があります。
現在世界では深刻な話題が多いので、あえて私たちは可愛らしくシンプル、そしてソフトな作品を目指しました。
この物語に深い意味は込めておらず、ただ日常から逃れ、共に写真を作り上げることを私たちは楽しんでいるのです。


Strawberry Dreams was born in collaboration with makeup artist Ana Buvinic.
Working process with Ana is usually very dynamic, collaborative and creative.
Mostly we agree on the general topic, choose a model together and then start working on the shooting day reflecting on each others work during the process.

With the story Strawberry dreams we wanted to create beauty looks and pictures that are soft, romantic and dreamy.
Therefore also the colour choice of pink and red, but keep it with a funky twist and balance it with simple black and white.

As I am shooting analogue, we always have a little bit of a surprise moment after the films are developed and scanned, because we do not see any images during the shoot.
As most of the topics in the world right now are so serious, we had a feeling to go for something cute, simple and soft.
There is no super deep idea behind this story, we just enjoy escaping from reality and creating pictures together.
