「A single thread(1本の糸)」
自由自在に形を変え、柔軟に伸縮し、繊細でありながら力強い——。
糸が持つマテリアルとしての無限の可能性に惹かれたニットの世界。
It changes shape freely, it stretches flexibly, it is delicate yet powerful.
The world of knitwear that I was drawn by the infinite possibilities of yarn as a material.
Yarn intersects with other yarn in the same way that people connect with each other, and the result is a piece that is as warm as your body.
The knitwear created from a single thread is like the world around us.
The time we spent in Europe, the sights we saw there, the air we gently touched.
And the beauty of being unadorned.
Weaving together fragments of precious moments in our daily lives,
and gently reflecting myself in the soft curves that run across our skin,
spin a story that begins with a single thread.
A knitwear designer born in 1996, based in Tokyo.
She majored in knit design, and graduated in 2020 with a collection sponsored by “SWAROVSKI”, “LINEA PIU” and “SATO SENI”.
Her body-hugging knitwear is a celebration of complexly beautiful womanhood.
