「Rainy Day（雨の日）」
この作品は週末の雨の日に家に閉じこもり、することがほとんどなく、ただそこにいることを楽しめるという、不思議だけれど平和な感覚を描いています。

私にとってこのような日々は、ますます忙しなくなっているように感じられる日常をリフレッシュしてくれるありがたいものです。

「窓の外は雨がしとしと降り、霧が立ち込めている。
アパートはいつもより暗いが、平和だ。
今日は貴重な休日で、することはほとんどない。
閉ざされたように感じるかもしれない。しかし、少しの努力でさまざまな可能性を広げることができる」


This work is about that strange but peaceful feeling of sheltering inside on a rainy day on a weekend, knowing that you have little to do and you can just enjoy existing.

To me, these days are a welcome refresh to what feels like our increasingly busy lives.

“The rain falls gently outside your window, fog hangs in the air.
Your apartment is a little darker than usual, but it’s peaceful.
It’s a rare day off, and there is little to do.
You may feel closed in, but you can open up all sorts of possibilities with a little effort.”

He is quite interested in exploring different angles of intimacy as of late, and he made a photo zine last year titled ‘New Light’.
