「Aesthetics of Small Town（小さな街の美学）」
「MONTBAU」は、賑やかな街の中心から外れた地域での生活に対する頌歌です。

バルセロナの斜面に位置するムンバウは、親密なコミュニティを作ることが日常生活の本質であると考える、小さな街の精神を体現しています。
60sまで遡る美学を持つこの地区は、時代を超えた旅、そして今も色褪せない街の歴史の一部を保存するカプセルとなります。

ムンバウの特徴的なデザインはその美しさの鍵であり、ファッションにおける特定のスタイルがその時代や流行を定義するのと同じように、アイデンティティーと帰属意識のシンボルとなっています。

シンプルで機能的なラインの建物は、まるで都会のオートクチュールのようで、60sのファッションのクリーンなカッティングや、ナチュラルな生地と同様、社会的結束とアクセシビリティを優先したデザインの時代を反映しています。

ムンバウのファサードやバルコニー、公共広場にはヴィンテージのエッセンスが染み込んでおり、レトロなファッションにも見られる真正性とシンプルさを表現しているのです。


‘MONTBAU’ is an ode to life in neighborhoods found outside bustling city centers.

Montbau, situated on the slopes of Barcelona, embodies the spirit of a small town where closeness and community are the essence of daily life.
With an aesthetic that takes us back to the 60s, this neighborhood becomes a journey through time, a capsule that preserves a part of city’s history that still resists fading away.

The distinctive design of Montbau is key to its aesthetic and makes it a symbol of identity and belonging, much like how certain styles in fashion define eras and trends.

Its buildings, with simple and functional lines, are like pieces of urban haute couture, reflecting an era of design that prioritized social cohesion and accessibility, similar to the clean cuts and natural fabrics of 60s fashion.

The facades, balconies, and public squares of Montbau are imbued with a vintage essence, capturing the authenticity and simplicity also seen in retro fashion.
