「Modern Models（モダンなモデルたち）」
これはそれぞれの豊かな個性に合わせてドレスアップした、ニューヨークのモダンなモデルたちのポートレート。

ほとんどの洋服は私のクローゼットや憧れのウィッシュリストから選んだものであり、個人的な好みが影響しつつも、個々の魅力を際立てるようなモデル像をユニークな手法で描きたいと思いました。

着想源は、モデルひとりひとりのナチュラルな美しさです。
しかしそれ以上に、ブルックリンやパリの通りから得たインスピレーションをスタジオに持ち込みました。

また、皆でLana Del RayやNew Order、00s初期のヒップホップを聴いたりもしました。


This work is portraits of modern models in NYC, dressed up to suit each of their lovely personalities perfectly.

As most of the sartorial choices came from my closet or pulled from wish list of dreams, I wanted to paint a picture of each model that was influenced by my intimately personal taste yet highlighted their coolness in unique ways.

I was inspired by each model’s individual natural beauty, but more so I brought my inspiration into the studio from observing the streets of Brooklyn and Paris.

We listened to Lana Del Ray, New Order and early 00s hip hop.
