「Mysterious Atmosphere（謎めいた雰囲気）」
この作品はミステリアスという言葉の着想から作り出したものです。
ミステリアスは元々、ラテン語で「mysterium（秘密、神秘)」という意味に英語の「-ous（〜の性質を持つ)」が組み合わさった言葉であり、これによって「神秘的な性質を持つ」という意味が生まれたと言われています。
今回の背景や彼女の表情に謎めいた雰囲気を漂わせながら、それがある意味で神秘的なものでもあるということをファッションを通じて表現をしました。
This work was born from the word ‘mysterious’.
‘Mysterious’ comes from the Latin word ‘mysterium’, (secret, hidden) to which the English adjectival suffix -ous was added, giving it the meaning of “something with a hidden or secret quality”.
The background and the model’s expression convey a hidden, unrevealed atmosphere, which, in a sense, is the ‘mysterious’ quality I wanted to convey, through fashion, in this work.
