「Cultural Diversity and Respect(文化的多様性と尊重)」
この作品はエチオピアの民族の典型的な装飾品を用いて、人生の無作為性を表現したいという想いから制作しました。
For this project, I wanted to express the randomness of life, showing a typical adornment of Ethiopian tribes.
The origin is the same for everyone, only our ancestors and cultures differentiate us.
How would our culture and life be if we had been born in other country?
With the make up artist Jose Sequi, we looked for references on how the Ethiopian tribes adorn themselves, and went to pick flowers and branches in the forest.
We got original ornaments at a store SARE AFRICA in Barcelona.
The owner Alassane meets the artisans dedicated to crafting and preserving the cultural heritage of the African community.
