ALIVENESS
For me, Crimson red is the state of ALIVENESS.
The slowly radiating energetic vibes that I give off when I’m feeling awake and alert and possibly magnetic.
It tastes of Rhubarb, and feels warm on the skin.
I don’t know if Crimson would have a smell.
Like something burning, perhaps.
In my childhood, I saw Crimson red swimming among other colors: purple, gold, green…on my mother’s paisley blouses from the 60s….and was mesmerised by the boldly colored patterns.
I have at times wished my eyes or hair or skin could be Crimson. I’m stuck with beiges and browns, which are so unexciting. Instead, I live out my color fantasies on my sketchbook page.
