「Chasing（追いかける）」
目の前を通り過ぎた蝶々を追いかける。
その自由で不器用な姿がどこか美しく、そっと手の中に収めたくなる。
どこに向かうでもなく、ただ何となく。
さっきまで見えなかった流れが透明な空間の中で際立ち、誰もが目を奪われる。
「ねぇ」
そう後ろから声をかけられ、幻想的なその空間は一瞬で弾ける。
そうだ、今日は友達と出かけるんだった。
少し怒った友達をなだめながら、もう1度だけ振り返ってみる。
この作品では、静かに、しかし強く存在している可愛さを追いかけた。
目には不安と自信が入り混じり、時折視線が外れる。
その自然な流れを止めたり、遠くから眺めたり、さまざまな角度から切り取ることで対話を可視化させる。
主張しすぎず確かに存在する衣装やアイメイクのカラーリングは、その時の気分を表現している。
その気分すらも可愛さの一部であることを伝えたいから。
Chasing a butterfly that passed in front of you.
It is a free and clumsy shape, which is somehow beautiful and makes you want to gently hold it in your hand.
It is not heading anywhere, just somewhere.
The flow, which was invisible until a moment ago, appears in the clear space and attracts everyone's attention.
“Hey”.
The fantastic space instantly bursts when someone calls out to you from behind.
Well, I was going out with a friend today.
While quieting down my friend who was a little upset, I looked back just one more time.
I followed the cuteness that is quietly yet strongly present.
There is a mix of anxiety and confidence in the model’s eyes, and her gaze occasionally wanders.
The dialogue is visualized by stopping that natural flow, by looking from a distance, and by cutting it from various angles.
The coloring of the costumes and eye makeup, which is not too assertive but certainly present, expresses the mood of the moment, conveying that even that mood is part of the cuteness.
