「A hidden gem of a garden in Barcelona(バルセロナの秘められた庭園)」
This editorial was inspired by a hidden gem of a garden in Barcelona, created in the early 20th century in a neoclassical style. It is a place not widely known, and I hope it stays that way.
The garden itself became the perfect setting for exploration, with its unique sculptures and classical architecture inviting me to play with the space.
The dialogue between the space and the model was key in shaping this series, allowing for the creation of images and concepts that leave interpretation open to the viewer.
The inspiration behind this work draws from Renaissance and classical Greek art.
I often find myself returning to the timeless beauty of the compositions, paintings, and sculptures from those periods.
The masters of that era laid the foundations of composition, balance, and harmony, and I believe there is still so much to learn from their work.
In today’s world, we often take our access to these masterpieces for granted, but I feel fortunate to be able to admire them and draw inspiration from them in my own work.
