「Negotiating Identity（アイデンティティーの交渉）」
これはフェミニティの経験の一部としての不安を探究した作品です。
物語は、自己認識やためらい、そして自己表現の瞬間を通過していく人物を追っています。
そこでは姿勢や身振りによって、アイデンティティーと外見の間で続いている交渉が明らかになります。
自信を固定された状態として描くのではなく、移行の瞬間を捉えます—フェミニティが身体や衣服を通して演じられているように感じられたり、問い直されたり、再定義されたりする瞬間です。
私たちは、そうしたフェミニティに伴う不安定さ——期待や美の規範、自己認識が身体の空間占有をいかに形作るか——について考察しています。
被写体はコントロールと不快感、柔らかさと緊張の間を行き来しながら、それを学ばれ、調整され、継続的に構築されていくものとして示唆しています。
インスピレーションとなったのは、自己意識が可視化される日常的な身振りや親密な瞬間です。
ファッションがこうした微細な心理状態を増幅し、衣服を表現と問いのための道具へと変容させていく。
その過程にこの作品は関心を向けています。
This is a fashion editorial that explores insecurity as part of the experience of femininity.
The story follows a character moving through moments of self-awareness, hesitation and self-presentation, where posture and gesture reveal an ongoing negotiation between identity and appearance.
Rather than portraying confidence as a fixed state, the images capture transitional moments—when femininity feels performed, questioned or redefined through the body and clothing.
The project reflects on insecurity in relation to femininity—how expectations, beauty codes and self-perception shape the way the body occupies space.
The subject shifts between control and discomfort, softness and tension, suggesting femininity not as a stable identity but as something learned, adjusted and continuously constructed.
The editorial was inspired by everyday gestures and intimate moments in which self-consciousness becomes visible.
I was interested in how fashion can amplify these subtle psychological states, turning clothing into a tool through which femininity is both expressed and questioned.
