「Between Roles and Self（役割と自己の間で）」
人々は気づかないうちに、本当の自分ではない役割を演じています。
違和感が増し、それがもはや痛みから身を守ってくれなくなった時、別れを告げ、壊し、そして自分自身の向こうを見つめる瞬間が訪れます。
変化は不安を、対峙は恐怖を伴いますが、再び自分自身を取り戻すために欠かせない段階です。
このエディトリアルは、成長して収まりきらない箱に気づき、かつて身を置いていた役割が自分を定義しなくなる転換点を探求しています。
物語は、サーカスを去ろうとする1人のアクロバットを通して語られます。
かつて彼女にアイデンティティーを与えたその場所は、もはや彼女自身を表すものではありません。
インスピレーションとなったのはサーカスとバーレスクの世界で、エレガントな視点で再解釈しました。
視覚的にはドラマ性と繊細さのバランスを追求し、優雅でありながら遊び心があり洗練されたテクスチャーとユーモアの感覚を融合させています。
スタイリングは常識から離れつつも洗練さを保ち、テクスチャーや動き、そしてさりげない演劇性によってその役割を柔らかく表現しています。
We perform, often without noticing, a character that isn’t truly ours.
When discomfort grows and no longer shields us from pain, it becomes time to say goodbye, to break, and to look beyond ourselves.
Change is unsettling and confrontation frightening, yet both remain essential steps toward feeling whole again.
This editorial explores the turning point when we realize that the box we’ve outgrown no longer fits, and the role we once inhabited no longer defines us.
The story is told through an acrobat who is about to leave the circus, a space that once gave her identity but no longer represents who she is.
The main inspiration comes from the world of the circus and burlesque, reinterpreted through an elegant lens.
Visually, we wanted to balance drama and delicacy: elegant yet playful, refined textures combined with a sense of humor.
The styling moves away from the norm while maintaining sophistication, softening the role through texture, movement and subtle theatricality.
